New mic not working for Xbox one

Hi,

I just bought a new beexcellent controller for my Xbox one along with a new controller. When I’m in a party and plug the mic in it says that a microphone can’t be found. I tried the same headset on my computer and it worked fine.

I also tried my beats on the Xbox and they worked fine. It seems like they Xbox doesn’t recognize these specific headphones. I’ve already tried restarting my Xbox and controller and the mic is not muted. what do I do?
