Any and all addictions are difficult to get over. Focus on the things you love to do, and replace smoking with these things. It will get better! Just give it time. -Breelagh

For example, things I love to do are write, sing, dance, exercise, and go on hikes. What are some things that you enjoy doing? Then, once you've listed those things, make it a priority to include these things in your life regularly. Do what makes you happy. Exercise, like you said you've been doing again lately, is a great way to clear your mind of any addictive thoughts that might come into your head like, "I have to have a cigarette now." It will also give you a natural and longer lasting calm afterwards than cigarettes do. Think about these ideas, and getting through the mental and physical pain will be a lot easier. It will also help you through the emotional pain, by setting your mind on the things you love to do, which will give you more joy in your life.
