I used to be a Receiver for bullies. Loved me. I am small
for my age, quiet most of the time, and a loner. Good
target. When one of my ex-friends started on me, I got
them back. Things changed after that and I got respect.
I didn't become a bully but rather an advocate for all of
the school's underdogs. By the end of the year, our circle
had grown to 3/4 of the students, while only a handful
stayed with their own. The popular kids. It was nice to be
respected for a change, and it helped pave the way for all
students to be respectful of others, despite differences.
